There are places that tell a story shaped by generations, seasons, hard work, quiet moments and celebrations. Cascina Baruccia is one of them. Restored by our parents in 1995, in the early days of our family farm, this old farmhouse takes its name from our great-grandfather’s nickname: Baruccia.
For many years, its beauty was known only to the few who passed through, attended a private celebration or were fortunate enough to sit in our stone amphitheatre, designed and built by our father, Marcello.
In 2026, for the first time, Cascina Baruccia truly opens its doors to everyone. A family restaurant is born, led by the eldest daughter, Chiara, together with her husband Donato, who is the chef.
A place where you can enjoy the flavours of our Apennines, on the border between Tuscany and Emilia: from traditional Lunigiana testaroli to trout from the rivers of the Val Taro, alongside dishes prepared with vegetables from our garden and carefully selected local ingredients.
A simple, thoughtful cuisine, made without haste. Rooted in local produce, honest recipes and dishes that tell the story of the place they come from.
